Stunning Visor Cap With Great Provenance

Hitler Youth leaders visor cap for sale. The Hitler Youth peak visor in a particularly fine quality medium brown gabardine cloth, with thick old silver piping and brown cloth visor. The cap with a fine carmine doeskin capband over a white doeskin capband. The cap retaining its M1929 eagle/swastika, along with the HJ enamel diamond. The cap is completed with a brown leather chinstrap. Interior lining is typical orange waterproofed material. The interior finished with a mid tan leather sweatband. 

Notes: An important visor cap in the history and evolution of the Hitler Youth. Introduced in 1933, these caps had a coloured capbandwhich   showed the wearers rank. This particular visor cap started life with the wearers rank as a Bannführer, and the capband in white cloth. A later promotion to Gebeitsführer and move to a staff position, led the wearer to have his visor cap upranked with the addition of a carmine red capband , and old silver piping.

Condition report: Overall very good towards excellent condition. Free from moth or other damages. Just light service use evident.
